Robinson Donovan, P.C., a full-service law firm trusted by generations to represent individual and business clients throughout Massachusetts and New England, once again partnered with The Gray House for its Adopt-a-Family Christmas program to make the holidays brighter for deserving families in the western Massachusetts community. This year, the firm assisted three families; The Gray House pairs local businesses with families in need to fulfill Christmas wish lists for their children.

“As a firm that serves clients throughout this region, we were delighted to once again partner with The Gray House to make the holidays merrier for local children,” said Partner David Lawless.

Through the help of businesses like Robinson Donovan, P.C., The Gray House was able to provide over 640 gifts to children in 2017. At l east 83 of those children were evacuees from Puerto Rico who had just arrived in Springfield in the wake of Hurricane Maria. This year, all of the children the charity asked donors to “adopt” reside in the family shelter near The Gray House. In addition to the Adopt-a-Family Christmas program, The Gray House hosts a general toy drive for children in the community, and with the help of local schools and shelters, has collected toys for over 500 children.

Robinson Donovan, P.C. believes in philanthropy and partners with charities year-round, providing funds and support for organizations throughout the Pioneer Valley. These organizations include Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Hampden County, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, Springfield Museums and Homework House.

“The people we serve aren’t just our clients,” said Partner James F. Martin. “They are also our friends and neighbors. We feel a strong sense of responsibility to those we serve professionally, but also to the greater community we belong to. Our entire team was delighted to have the chance to have an immediate and direct impact on neighbors in need.”
