Carla W. Newton has been named to the Board of Trustees of the Providence Ministries for the Needy, Inc. Providence Ministries founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1980 includes the Broderick House, St. Jude’s Clothing Center, Margaret’s Pantry, McCleary Manor, Loreto House, Kate’s Kitchen, foodWorks @ Kate’s Kitchen and The Holyoke Career Closet.
