Local attorney makes and donates custom masks during COVID-19 outbreak
Wanting to do something to lend support during the coronavirus outbreak, Attorney Emily Eash of Greenfield recently spent a weekend making custom masks, which she donated throughout the community. A new associate at Robinson Donovan P.C., in Springfield and Northampton, Eash set a personal goal to make 100 masks, collected donations from her colleagues to help offset the costs, and exceeded her goal, completing 106 masks in a variety of colors and sizes.
She donated the masks to Buckley HealthCare Center in Greenfield, Glenmeadow Retirement Community in Longmeadow, Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care in Greenfield, and the Salvation Army in Greenfield, as well as to her colleagues at Robinson Donovan and her mail carrier.
Eash plans to continue making masks, which she will sell for a small fee, with profits going toward the purchase of additional supplies that she will use to make more masks for donation.
