Effective March 1, 2010, Massachusetts Data Security Regulations require businesses, including law firms, to take certain steps to protect the confidentiality of Personal Information of Massachusetts residents. Personal Information means a Massachusetts resident's name in combination with social security number, bank account number, credit card number, driver license or state-issued identification card number.
In order to comply with the Regulations, Robinson Donovan has installed email encryption software that is designed to protect all confidential email communication that you receive from us.
We have chosen to use the StenCrypt Secure Email solution powered by industry leader ZixCorp. ZixCorp's easy-to-use e-messaging protection makes it easy for you to both receive and read any encrypted communications.
The privacy of business communication is important to us and we want to ensure your information stays private. There may be occasions where emails that do not contain Personal Information arrive encrypted; this is due to wording in the email that is filtered automatically and we are working to minimize these occurrences.
If you receive an encrypted email message from us - you will be directed to click thru to a website, create a username and password.
